WALLA WALLA MARATHON
Walla Walla Marathon will happen Sunday, October 10.2010. Yep, that’s 10/10/10!!! Start training!
NOTE: We had to change the date from 10/31/10 due to Tricities marathon being on that date. That’s too close distance-wise for two races on the same day. So, we changed the date to 10/10/10 which is way cooler anyway! We look forward to a spectacular first year. Hope to have you with us!
A portion of the proceeds from The Walla Walla Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10K, and Kids Marathon will go to aid breast cancer patients as they go through treatment. Providence St. Mary Cancer Center serves patients from Walla Walla valley and surrounding areas to treat this all too common disease.
We hope to broaden the awareness of this disease to our community and bring us all together to serve the needs of those we love in their times of need. The funds donated will go to the Special Needs Fund and will be spent on things like prosthetics, wigs, medications, food, and lodging.
